Dear friends,
First of all, I would like to thank you all very much for your engagement and for participating in this year’s UNITED-campaign "Blow Fascism Away! Join the movement" commemorating the 1938 ‘Kristallnacht’ pogrom.
On 9 November 2005 non-governmental organisations in 40 European countries, coordinated through the international secretariat of UNITED, organised torchlight processions, awareness raising campaigns, big demonstrations and exhibitions… The organisations prepared country-wide activities as well as cross national activities!
To document the campaign in an affecting and interesting Report about the International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism, I would kindly ask you to send us:
1) newspaper-clippings on activities in your town/region/country (in any language)
2) photos, posters, leaflets by normal post-mail or via E-mail
2) short reports (in English language) about your event
3) very short reports about antisemitic and fascist developments in your country/region
Just send all information to UNITED, either by fax (+31-20-6834582), e-mail (info@unitedagainstracism.org) or mail (UNITED, PB 413, NL-1000 AK Amsterdam)!
With your help, we can make the success of this campaign even bigger and the better the information we get the better the report will be!
For this reason, UNITED is starting a contest: The five best photographs will receive a "One Race! Human Race!" T-shirt from UNITED!
