Cos’è Europa facile – Europafacile è il sito sulle politiche e i finanziamenti dell’Unione europea, realizzato dai Politiche dell’Unione Europea e Cooperazione internazionale di ERVET – Emilia-Romagna Valorizzazione Economica del Territorio S.p.A. per conto della Regione Emilia-Romagna.
Europafacile si rivolge a tutti i soggetti pubblici e privati, autonomie locali, centri di servizio, e in particolare alle associazioni ed enti interessati ad interagire nel processo di integrazione europea e a beneficiare della vasta gamma di opportunità comunitarie. Europafacile intende, infatti, essere uno strumento informativo sulle politiche e i programmi comunitari, sui documenti di lavoro delle Istituzioni comunitarie, sui bandi di gara e i relativi formulari per la presentazione di progetti, sugli appuntamenti di rilevanza internazionale e sui referenti dei programmi europei. Il sito mette inoltre a disposizione esempi di progetti già finanziati con i contributi dell’Ue ed i riferimenti di partner con cui è possibile avviare progetti di collaborazione. Sul sito è a disposizione anche l’archivio dei numeri pubblicati di Eurolettera, la newsletter di Europafacile sulle tematiche di rilevanza comunitaria, che viene inviata gratuitamente a tutti gli iscritti al sito.
Europafacile, a cui si accede gratuitamente previa registrazione, viene aggiornato quotidianamente e offre a tutti gli iscritti informazioni rielaborate e sintetizzate che facilitano la comprensione dell’iter di elaborazione degli atti relativi alle politiche europee e delle modalità di accesso alle opportunità di finanziamento comunitarie. Le informazioni si possono reperire mediante sistemi di ricerca guidati (es. ricerca per parole-chiave, macro tematiche, su menu a ricerca semplice o avanzata) o mediante una ricerca libera

Riportiamo alcuni bandi come esempi.
1 – CONCORSO PER L’ANNO INTERNAZIONALE DELLA COOPERAZIONE PER L’ACQUA E LA GIORNATA MONDIALE DELL’ACQUA 2013 L’ANNO 2013 SARÀ L’ANNO INTERNAZIONALE DELLA COOPERAZIONE PER L’ACQUA DELLE NAZIONI UNITE. Tutti, da qualunque parte del mondo e di qualsiasi età, sono invitati a partecipare al concorso e contribuire alla campagna creando uno slogan breve e accattivante scritto in inglese, facile da capire e rivolto ad un vasto pubblico. I candidati possono presentare un numero indefinito di contributi. Un comitato selezionerà i primi dieci e un sondaggio online, che si terrà tra il 30 Novembre e il 25 Dicembre 2012, determinerà il vincitore assoluto del concorso. L’autore dello slogan vincente verrà invitato all’evento di apertura dell’Anno Internazionale della Cooperazione per l’Acqua delle Nazioni Unite 2013, presso il quartier generale UNESCO a Parigi, Francia, nel gennaio 2013. 2 – CL!CK ABOUT IT: CONCORSO FOTOGRAFICO MONDIALE. CL!CK è una serie di concorsi fotografici sul mondo che cambia, mirato a creare un mosaico di immagini da tutti gli angoli della terra per mostrare in che modo le comunità locali e le persone lottano per la sopravvivenza in una società in continuo cambiamento. Il tema di quest’anno è “Crisi e disastri”. Possono partecipare fotografi amatoriali e professionisti con foto che catturino i disastri naturali, i conflitti politici, le crisi finanziarie, la vita urbana e il cambiamento climatico. I due vincitori assoluti (uno per i professionisti e uno per gli amatori) verranno selezionati per un viaggio di reportage organizzato dal Centro Europeo per il Giornalismo. Scadenza: 29 Ottobre 2012.
3 – Commissione europea Juvenes Translatores. ISCRIVETEVI entro il 20 ottobre Quest’anno potranno partecipare al concorso, che si terrà il 27 novembre 2012, gli alunni nati nel 1995.

4 – CIPE – CONCORSO DI COMPONIMENTO PER GIOVANI 2012 – Il Centro per l’Impresa Privata Internazionale (CIPE) invita studenti e giovani professionisti di tutto il mondo, dai 18 ai 30 anni, a condividere le proprie idee su come creare opportunità per rafforzare la democrazia e il settore privato nei loro paesi. Per partecipare è necessario scrivere un componimento di 1500/2500 parole sulle seguenti categrie:
1. Imprenditorialità e innovazione: oltre la tecnologia.
2. Crescita inclusiva: contesto imprenditoriale per il miglioramento progressivo dell’impresa.
3. Trasformazioni sociali: il ruolo degli imprenditori nel costruire società democratiche.
Per ciascuna categoria il CIPE pubblicherà i componimenti al primo, secondo e terzo posto. Gli autori vincitori riceveranno anche un premio in denaro. Il vincitore del primo premio verrà invitato a partecipare, a spese del CIPE, alla conferenza annuale negli Stati Uniti, in programma per l’Aprile 2013.

5 – Safer Internet Programme: the main framework for European policy – Children and young people are almost expert users of online technologies. However, this does not mean they all have the maturity to identify the potential risks they may be exposed to, let alone their possible consequences.
Young people, parents, carers and teachers must be informed of the potential risks that youngsters may encounter online. Fighting illegal and harmful content and conduct online should be a priority . These have been the objectives of the EU’s successive Safer Internet Programmes since the first one was created in 1999. Current programme (2009-2013): more focus on grooming and bullying
Safer Internet 2009-2013 builds on the success of the previous programme and will have a budget of €55 million. The new programme will fight not only illegal content but also harmful conduct such as grooming and bullying. Funds will also serve to develop expert knowledge about existing and emerging uses, risks and consequences of online technologies for children’s lives, including the technical, psychological and sociological aspects of online-related child sexual abuse. Making the Internet safer over the years: a chronology of the different programmes
The Safer Internet plus programme covered the period 2005–2008 with € 45 million worth of funding. It covered mainly public awareness activities, actions for fighting illegal and harmful content online and actions promoting a safer online environment.
The Safer Internet programme has been running since 1999. Three successive programmes have been adopted since then, each one covering 4-5 years. Learn more about the projects that are funded by the Safer Internet Programme.

Who can participate in the programmes?
27 European Member States
Participation in the Safer Internet programme is open to legal entities established in the EU Member States.
EFTA (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein)
Participation in the Safer Internet programme is open to legal entities established in countries of the European Free Trade Area (EFTA) which are members of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, i.e. Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, in accordance with the conditions laid down in the EEA Agreement.
Accession countries and candidate countries (Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia)
Participation in the Safer Internet programme is open to legal entities established in accession and candidate countries benefiting from a pre-accession strategy, in accordance with the general principles and general terms and conditions for the participation of those countries in Community programmes established in the respective Framework Agreements and Association Council Decisions. However, they will only receive funding if a bilateral agreement with the relevant country has been concluded to this effect.
No bilateral agreement has been concluded so far.
Western Balkans and European neighbourhood countries
Participation in the Safer Internet programme is open to legal entities established in countries of the Western Balkans and the European neighbourhood, in accordance with the provisions to be determined with those countries following the establishment of Framework Agreements concerning their participation in Community programmes. However, they will only receive funding if a bilateral agreement with the relevant country has been concluded to this effect.
No bilateral agreement has been concluded so far.
Third countries
Participation in the Safer Internet programme is open to legal entities established in a third country being a party to an international agreement with the Community, under the terms or on the basis of which it makes a financial contribution to the Programme.
International organizations
International organisations and legal entities established in third countries may take part in shared-cost actions, with or without Community funding, under the following conditions:
The action must fall under a priority for international cooperation as defined in the annual work programmes. These priorities may be defined by thematic area of activity, by geographic criteria or both.
The annual work programmes may define further criteria and conditions which must be satisfied by international organisations and legal entities established in third countries in order to receive Community funding.

6 – OPEN DAYS 2012 : EU regional tourism initiatives – boosting growth, delivering results

Europe is the most important tourism region in the world.
The sector generates 5-10% of EU GDP and gives jobs to almost 10 million people.
It is also one of the economic sectors with the highest growth potential as travelling, either for leisure or business, has become a part of the European way of life.
Realising this potential despite the economic downturn is a significant challenge.
But it is also an opportunity that cannot be missed.
This workshop will explore the regional dimension of tourism and will strive to answer how the regional initiatives can best drawn on the EU cultural and natural heritage to deliver results for economy and for European citizens.
